Luminous Landscapes
(Apr. 2025)

Apr. 7, 14, 21 & 28,  Monday Nights at B.Marie's Atelier & Gallery.

When seeking to capture the beautiful golden hour, it's all about the color and light. Details soften to give way to dramatic luminosity.

While creating a luminous landscape, you will also develop essential skills to improve your ability to work from general to specific, be selective about what details to include, make bold choices, and paint both positive and negative shapes. As we go step by step through the process, you will learn to see your subject as relationships between light and dark, warm and cool, and general and specific. When you stop trying to paint the subject and begin painting the relationships, incredible things begin to happen!
